Tips for Overcoming Dental Anxiety

Everyone knows how important it is to visit a dentist regularly - and not only when you experience pain or other problems. By holding on to the dentist schedule you recommend, many potential problems can be overcome before getting worse. Dental anxiety can make things difficult.   What is Dental anxiety? It is estimated that tooth anxiety affects as many as 24 percent of people globally. Dental anxiety refers to feelings of stress, fear and/or anxiety felt by many people when they visit a dentist.   In some cases, tooth anxiety can be traced to certain triggers such as drill sounds or worries about needles.
